The highlights of the camp were a few nice actions; some people made a nice theatre piece about not only the border regime but many aspects of capitalism and "globalization" which are problematic for society. It was really quite good. Other people also made a little theatre piece about upcoming visa regimes on the border (photo-report: http:// pl.indymedia.org/pl/2003/07/2133.shtml). A girl from the Belarussian Anarchist Federation sang a great song. People marched to the border and danced there.
There was a moving talk about the situation of Chechen refugees in Poland (for more information on the situation of chechen refugees in [eastern] europe go to:
http:// noborder.org/chechnya/display.php?id=85)
The action at the border was accompanied by many local people including many children who drew all sorts of interesting pictures on the road at the border. There were no incidents and it was quite successful.
A side action which was made was on the fourth of July when actvists stormed some sort of reception at the American Days festival and shouted anti-war slogans for 15 minutes before the cops arrived and detained 6 of them (see: http:// pl.indymedia.org/pl/2003/07/2110.shtml)
Finally, a big talk about a future project was made and we are optimistic that some interesting things will follow.
