Scottish punk band Shatterhand, open Activist Forum for free use.

Scottish band Shatterhand have opened a forum at

 http://shatterhand.proboards29.com/

The forum contains boards for Activist and Charity Issues, Events and Announcements. These include Human Rights, Animal Rights, Global Issues and Politics. The boards are all moderated to ensure they remain free of any possible abuse.
Please feel free to make as much use of this as you like. We are aiming to get the punk community in Scotland more involved in issues which surround and affect all of us.
If we can get bands and their fans to look further afield into their society and outward to the planet itself, then together we can start to make this life a
little better and a little more compassionate.
Thanks for your time and we look forward to reading any posts/threads
you place in the forum. Together we can make a difference!

The bands main website www.shatterhand.co.uk also includes a news page where we upload various activist articles alongside our own band news. Anyone is free to email us their article which we will put on the site.

I'd like to say well done to this band for showing that there are still people out there in the underground music community who are willing to do all they can to, as they say, make a difference. Even if you have no interest in Punk music at all, it's well worth visiting their forum (and site), some really interesting stuff being written - certainly opened my eyes to a few things!
